The Stevenson Trail or GR70 (Grande Randonnee 70) goes from Monastier-sur- Gazeille in the Haute-Loire region to Saint-Jean-du-Gard in the Languedoc-Roussillon region. The route is approx 274km and crosses through the Auvergne, Cevennes and Languedoc-Roussillon regions.

Santiago de Compostela

Mont-Saint-Michel - Normandy/Brittany - France

Mont-Saint-Michel (Saint Michael's Mount) is a walled medieval city and abbey near Avranches on the border of Normandie and Brittany in north-west France. It is now an island with a connecting bridge from the mainland and is included in the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites. La Mere Poulard is a famous 3* hotel / restaurant renowned for its cuisine including omelettes and a local speciality is pre-salted lamb (agneau pre-sale) as the sheep have grazed on the salt marsh meadows.
The bay is tidal and the region is very picturesque.
